Congratulations to the CRHS girls varsity soccer team for their 16-1 win over Crisfield High School on senior night! Defensively, only one shot on goal was allowed while the Colonels had 36. Thirteen different girls scored goals, several of which celebrated their first ever high school goals. Seniors Meghan Lambert and Clarissa Peugh both scored, along with juniors Adan Alvi, Vanessa Odidika, and Kallie Peele, sophomores Abby Gunnarsson and Lila Schriefer, and freshmen Ava Collins, Ella Downie, Sadie Prettyman, Gabi Roe, and Cloee Welzel. Their next game is on Monday, October 9th at Easton High School. #ColonelTOUGH #homegrown

Monday was National Custodian Appreciation Day, and we are very grateful to our amazing custodial staff! Mr. James, Mr. Ricky, Ms. Owanda, Ms. Christina, and Mr. Dontah keep our school clean and beautiful! #ColonelTOUGH


Mrs. Smith's Chemistry students investigated the concept half-life of radioactive elements by modeling nuclear decay using the element "M&Mium." After collecting data, they created a graphical model of half-life decay, and they used their new understanding of half-life to perform calculations. Of course, the best part was disposing of M&Mium at the end of class! #ColonelTOUGH



Meet Griff!
Students were polled about the name of School Resource Officer DFC Hopkins' new kitten that he rescued this week, and Griff is the winner! He's very much enjoying his new home and family! #ColonelTOUGH

Mr. Newberry's PLTW Intro to Engineering and Design class went through the engineering and design process to build a carnival game board. Students had to come up with ideas, narrow it down to one single idea, and sketch and prototype their carnival games. They further had to test to make sure only 5% at most would succeed to ensure maximum profits. His PLTW Digital Electronics students learned how to desolder and solder components on circuit boards! #ColonelTOUGH
