A letter and flyer have been sent home outlining Halloween parade expectations — please take a moment to review these details with your child. 🎉

The weather for Friday looks good, so we are anticipating an outdoor parade in our side parking lot and car rider loop area, as in years past.

Classroom parties will also be happening, and your child’s teacher(s) have sent home a classroom-specific letter with all the party information you’ll need. We can’t wait to celebrate a safe, fun, and spooky day together! 🧡🖤

🎉 Fundraiser Champions Announced! 🎉 A huge congratulations to Mrs. Hammonds’ and Mrs. Burns’ classes for being our top fundraisers in the Preston Panther PTO Joe Corby’s fundraiser! Our Pre-K 4-year old Panthers had a farm-tastic Friday at Bartonfelder Farms! 🐄🎃🌽 Students spent the day exploring the wonders of the farm—painting their own pumpkins, winding through a kid-sized corn maze, and meeting some friendly barnyard animals up close! These hands-on experiences bring classroom learning to life and spark curiosity about the world around them. Thank you to Bartenfelder Farms for hosting such a fun and memorable adventure for our youngest learners! 🐾

The Fall 2025 Preston Elementary School Book Fair will take place from November 10–14. Families are invited to join in celebrating reading and supporting the PES Media Center. Book Fair Night will be held on November 13 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., and Grandparents Day will wrap up the week on November 14, with the fair open all day. Parents can visit the Scholastic website (https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/prestonelementaryschool2) to order books online and set up a cash-free eWallet for their child’s purchases. The eWallet option is the easiest way for your child to purchase books; however, families can also send money in with their student on their classes buy day. The fair schedule includes class preview and buy days to help every student explore and enjoy new books. The schedule is included in our newsletter, will be sent home with all students, and will also be available on our website and Facebook page.
