The Student Benefit Form is due tomorrow! If you have not yet returned your child's form, please send it in tomorrow.
If we do not have your form, a new one is coming home today on colored paper. Please ask your child for the form when you see them after school, complete it, and make sure it goes right back in their backpack or laptop bag to turn in tomorrow morning.
We need a completed form returned for every student, even if:
✅ You believe you may not qualify
✅ You have already completed a form for a sibling
✅ Your household information has not changed
Why? This information is directly tied to important funding for our school which helps support student programs, resources, services, and opportunities throughout the school year. Every completed form makes a difference.

10/29/26 - Caroline County Public Schools will be operating on a two hour delay this morning due to fog in the area. Please be safe on the roads.
Our 7th grade guidance counselor, Mrs. Thompson, has started a new club at LMS! Introducing.... Junior Chef Cooking Club! 👨🍳👩🍳 So far we have talked about kitchen safety, sanitation, practicing knife skills and made our 1st recipe!!( Fruit Salsa with homeade cinnamon chips)

At LMS today, Career Coach Mrs. Johnson welcomed three Maryland State Troopers to speak with over 200 students! The troopers provided an insightful look into their profession, covering career pathways, necessary educational requirements, the academy experience, salary, and exploratory programs.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Maryland State Police for visiting our students and providing such an engaging and educational experience!

Students in Ms. Butler's Music class virtually traveled around the world to research music from other cultures. Students then got to practice their presentation skills by sharing what they learned about music from China, Egypt, Indian Mexico, Kenya, Brazil and Scotland with their classmates! Way to go Wildcats!!!

Last week, your child received a yellow permission form so they can participate in a school climate survey. Please review the form and have your child bring it back to school and turn it into their homeroom teacher first thing in the morning.
